Joe is a junior Morehead-Cain scholar at UNC studying communications and political science, and is hoping to pursue a career in corporate social responsibility. Born and raised in Wilson, North Carolina; Joe is passionate about creatively telling stories and connecting people. In addition to writing, he has structured programs for mentorship and interconnectedness while advocating for mental and emotional well-being.

Having grown up a die-hard NC State fan, Russell Wilson captured my respect and forever support at a young age. Not only did he make games fun to watch, but his compassion and philanthropy have only grown with his professional success. Through his artisanship as a quarterback and leadership of the Why Not You Foundation, Russell empowers his teammates, fans, and youth all over the country to be the best versions of themselves.
